Chinese Iron Ore Port Stockpiles Grow

Iron ore inventories at 42 Chinese ports surveyed by U-Metal increased by 3.1 Mt week-on-week, the consecutive sixth weekly gain, to a 12-week high of 113.3 Mt on 24 July.

Steel stockpiles in major Chinese cities have also continued on an upward trend, rising for a fifth consecutive week to 15.5 Mt on 24 July (+0.1 Mt), U-Metal data show.
