Indian refinery runs continue to recover in June
Oil
Indian crude oil refinery throughput increased by 420K b/d m-o-m to 4.29M b/d in June, as runs continue to recover from the 13-year low of 3.6M b/d recorded in April, according to Reuters reporting on preliminary Petroleum Ministry data. This is a decrease of 670K b/d (or 14%) y-o-y.
India’s oil demand remains subdued by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as localised lockdowns, in place to curb the spread of the virus continue to reduce fuel consumption and impact supply chains, newswires report.
