US HRB Price Declines

The US hot-rolled band (HRB) price dropped by $26/t in the two weeks to 27 July to $530/t, the lowest since April 2016, according to the latest SteelBenchmarker from World Steel Dynamics.
Elsewhere, the Western European HRB price gained by $21/t over the same period to a four-month high of $479/t on 27 July, while the Chinese HRB price edged up to a one-year peak of $469/t (+$7/t).
