US steel imports dropped to 1.3 Mt in June (-0.6 Mt year-on-year), the lowest since November 2009, and extended a run of annual falls in every month since August 2019, according to Census Bureau data. Receipts declined by 3.0 Mt year-on-year to 11.2 Mt in the 1h20.
