Brazilian steel exports declined to 0.9 Mt in May, down by 0.3 Mt year-on-year, government data show.

The country’s bauxite shipments eased by less than 0.1 Mt to 0.3 Mt last month, while manganese ore exports were nearly flat on the year at 0.2 Mt.

Meanwhile, Brazilian raw sugar exports climbed to 2.3 Mt in May, rising by 0.9 Mt year-on-year to the highest level since October 2017.
