Chinese Crude Steel Production Hits Record High in May

Chinese crude steel output climbed by 4.2% year-on-year to a record high of 92.3 Mt in May, data from the National Bureau of Statistics show. Production over the first five months of 2020 rose to 411.8 Mt (+1.9%).
