Chinese HRB Price Rises

The Chinese hot-rolled band (HRB) price increased by $13/t in the two-weeks to 8 June to $440/t, according to the latest SteelBenchmarker from World Steel Dynamics. This was the highest since the 10 February report, although still down by $29/t year-on-year.

Meanwhile, the US HRB price rose to $562/t (+$9/t) and the Western European HRB price inched up by $2/t to $455/t.
