Chinese Port Iron Ore Stocks Edge Higher

Iron ore inventories at 42 surveyed Chinese ports rose by 1.2 Mt in the week to 26 June to 107.1 Mt, the highest since 22 May, according to U-Metal. However, stockpiles remained below an average 119.1 Mt held in June 2019.

Meanwhile, ahead of the recent holiday, steel inventories in major Chinese cities inched up 0.1 Mt in the five-days to 24 June to 14.3 Mt, the most recent U-Metal data show.
