CISA Crude Steel Output Grows to New High

China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills' crude steel output rose by 0.8% from the last eleven days of May to a record 2.11 Mt/day over 1-10 June, according to the industry association’s data. The previous high was reached in September 2019.

Crude steel production has remained above 2.0 Mt/day since the last ten days of April, recovering from an average 1.89 Mt/day in the 1q20.
