US Steel Imports Drop in May

US steel imports fell for the tenth consecutive month in May, down 0.3 Mt year-on-year to 1.6 Mt, provisional Census Bureau data show. At 9.9 Mt, imports in the first five months of the year dropped 2.4 Mt on the corresponding period in 2019.
