Brazilian Bauxite Exports Continue Decline

Brazilian bauxite exports fell year-on-year for a fifth consecutive month to 0.3 Mt in February, provisional government (MDIC) data show. Exports were flat on the month, with January-February exports of about 0.3 Mt apiece the lowest since January 2013.

Meanwhile, manganese ore shipments rebounded, rising to a five-month high of 0.4 Mt last month (+0.2 Mt year-on-year).
