Brazilian Iron Ore Exports Decline

Brazilian iron ore exports fell by 6.8 Mt year-on-year to 22.1 Mt in February, the second lowest month for seven years, according to provisional economic ministry (MDIC) data. Shipments have posted annual falls in each month since March 2019.

January-February iron ore loadings were down by 13.2 Mt on the year to 48.9 Mt — the lowest for the first two months of the year since 2015.
