Chinese HRB Price at 33-Month Low

The Chinese hot-rolled band (HRB) price eased to $416/t on 23 March, down by $8/t from two weeks ago to the lowest level since June 2017, according to the latest SteelBenchmarker from World Steel Dynamics.

Meanwhile, the US domestic HRB price shed $30/t in the two-weeks to 23 March to $621/t, a three-month low. The Western European HRB price slipped to $496/t (-$3/t over the same period).
