CISA Crude Steel Output Rises in Mid-March

China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills’ average crude steel output rose to 1.84 Mt/day over 11-20 March, up by 1.6% from the previous ten-day period to the highest level since early February.

However, crude steel production was still down by 4% year-on-year, according to CISA.
