India crude imports rose in February
Indian crude imports rose 230K b/d y-o-y to 4.71M b/d in February, according to data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell. The import data shows no sign of a slowdown in crude demand in India as a result of the coronavirus in February, although many of these cargoes would have been booked prior the more widespread outbreak. So far India has had comparatively few cases of the disease with just 151 cases to date. There was also no indication of lower product exports which rose 190K b/d y-o-y to 1.26M b/d.
