Japanese crude imports fall in February

Japanese crude imports fell 760K b/d m-o-m in February to 2.87M b/d, data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry shows. Imports from Saudi Arabia fell to 962K b/d, down from 1.07M b/d in February 2019. The UAE has overtaken Saudi Arabia to become the largest crude supplier to Japan. Imports from the UAE rose to 1.01M b/d in February, a 227K b/d y-o-y increase.
