Port Hedland Iron Ore Exports Fall to 11-Month Low

Port Hedland iron ore loadings declined by 0.3 Mt year-on-year to 38.8 Mt in February, the lowest level since March 2019, port authority data show.

Iron ore exports to China slipped to 33.3 Mt in February (-0.2 Mt year-on-year). However, exports to South Korea and Japan bucked a trend of annual declines in shipments to other destinations, rising to 3.7 Mt and 1.4 Mt, respectively.
