South Korea Curbs Coal-Fired Power Output

South Korea will idle up to 28 coal-fired power units in March to curtail pollution, up from 15 plants shut in the winter, IHS reports. The country’s remaining coal operations will run at 80% of capacity.
The country imported 103.0 Mt of steam coal in 2019, down from 109.4 Mt in 2018.
