Brazilian Iron Ore Exports Remain Weak in April

Brazilian iron ore exports remained weak in April at 24.0 Mt, provisional government data based on daily exports show. April 2020 shipments were the second lowest for the month in the past seven years after April 2019 (18.7 Mt), when exports were heavily impacted by the Brumadinho dam disaster.
Iron ore exports in January-April combined were down by 8.4 Mt on the same four months in 2019 at 94.6 Mt.
