Brazilian Soyabean Exports Climb to Record High

Brazilian soyabean shipments soared to a record high of 16.3 Mt in April (+6.9 Mt year-on-year), provisional customs data show. Exports typically peak in the 2q.

The country’s soyameal exports edged up by 0.2 Mt on the year to 1.7 Mt, the highest since July 2018.

Meanwhile, corn loadings tumbled to less than 0.1 Mt in April from 0.4 Mt in the same month of 2019.
