Brazilian Steel, Manganese Ore and Bauxite Exports in April

Brazilian steel exports declined by 0.2 Mt year-on-year to 0.9 Mt in April, according to government data. Shipments fell from 1.4 Mt in March, a 14-month high.

Meanwhile, the country’s manganese ore exports dropped to less than 0.1 Mt last month, the lowest since February 2014.

Bauxite shipments were flat on the year at slightly less than 0.4 Mt in April.
