Canadian Coking Coal Exports Extend Decline

Canadian coking coal shipments (excluding exports to the US) fell for a fifth month in a row to 2.6 Mt in March (-0.8 Mt year-on-year), data collected by IHS show. Exports to India, South Korea and China declined on the year. However, loadings to top destination, Japan, inched up by 0.1 Mt on the year to a four-year high of 1.0 Mt in March.
