Port Hedland Iron Ore Exports Rise in April

Iron ore shipments from Australia’s Port Hedland rose by 3.3 Mt year-on-year to 45.3 Mt last month, data from the Pilbara Ports Authority show. Exports to China grew to 38.7 Mt in April (+4.1 Mt).

Total iron ore exports over the first-four months of 2020 gained by 12.0 Mt on the year to 171.3 Mt.
