CISA Crude Steel Output Holds Steady

China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills’ crude steel production softened slightly to 2.16 Mt/day in the last 11 days of October from 2.17 Mt/day in the previous ten-day period, industry group data show. Nonetheless, October was still the strongest month on record for output at CISA mills. By contrast average October 2019 output was below 2 Mt/day.
