Indonesian Coal Exports Drop in September

According to data collected by IHS, Indonesian coal exports (including lignite) plummeted 8.9 Mt year-on-year to 28.2 Mt in September. Loadings for China dropped to just 3.7 Mt from 11.6 Mt in September 2019. Shipments to India eased 0.6 Mt on the year to 10.1 Mt, although rose from 8.8 Mt in August.

Total exports in the 3q20 were down 23.3 Mt to 88.5 Mt.
