Russian coal exports (including lignite and overland shipments) grew to a one-and-a-half year high of 22.2 Mt in September (+1.4 Mt on the year), according to IHS. At 57.4 Mt, 3q20 exports were the highest quarterly level since at least 1q08. However, weakness in the 1h20 weighed on total loadings in the first nine months of 2020, which fell 12.5 Mt to 151.4 Mt.
