Shell to halve crude processing at Pulau Bukom refinery

Shell has announced that it plans to halve the crude oil processing at its 500K b/d Pulau Bukom refinery in Singapore, the company's largest wholly owned refinery, Reuters report. This announcement comes as part of a broad business review in which Shell has outlined aims to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions to net zero by 2050, as well as cut the number of its oil refining and petrochemical facilities from 14 to six over the next three years.
