Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) has lifted force majeure on the Sharara oilfield, following the termination of the Libyan National Army’s (LNA) nine-month oil blockade in September, Reuters report. Oil production in Libya is now expected to rise to around 355K b/d, with the NOC stating that production at the country’s largest oilfield will begin once appropriate safety standards have been met.
