Combined coal throughput at the main Queensland ports of Abbot Point, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal, Gladstone and Hay Point posted an annual decline for a seventh month in a row, down 1.7 Mt to just under 16.0 Mt in September, according to port authority data. Shipments in the 3q20 dropped to 48.2 Mt (-7.0 Mt), the lowest since 2q17.
