Grain
US soyabean exports edged up 0.2 Mt week-on-week to a four-year high of 2.7 Mt in the seven days to 22 October, data from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) show. Accumulated shipments in the 2020/21 trade year (Sep-Aug) gained to 14.1 Mt, climbing from just shy of 8 Mt at the same point last year. This helped boost combined weekly corn, wheat and soyabean exports up 0.3 Mt on the week to 3.9 Mt. A rise of 0.3 Mt in wheat shipments to 0.4 Mt offset a 0.2 Mt decline in corn exports, which eased to a seven-week low of 0.7 Mt.
