Iron Ore Inventories at Chinese Ports Extend Gains

Iron ore stocks at 42 U-Metal surveyed Chinese ports rose 0.3 Mt week-on-week to 114.8 Mt on 18 September, extending increases for a fourth seven-day period in a row. Stockpiles were below levels held in previous years, with 121.7 Mt during the same period of 2019 and 148.4 Mt in 2018.
