Iron Ore Stocks at Chinese Ports Continue Higher

Iron ore inventories at 42 surveyed Chinese ports gained 1.6 Mt in the week to 25 September to 116.3 Mt, U-Metal data show. This extended rises for a fifth consecutive week to the highest level since April. Nonetheless, stockpiles were down compared with levels in previous years, with 145.0 Mt held in the final week of September 2018 and 119.8 Mt at the same time last year.
