Mexico's crude exports at a 7-month high in August
Mexican crude oil exports increased by 140K b/d m-o-m and 110K b/d y-o-y to 1.19M b/d in August, reaching the highest level since January, according to data from Pemex. The majority of this increase is due to strengthened exports to the Americas, which rose by 120K b/d m-o-m to 730K b/d, whereas loadings to Asia fell by 10K b/d m-o-m to 270K b/d.
Gasoline imports grew by 16K b/d m-o-m to 389K b/d, the highest level since March, however this is a decline of 105K b/d y-o-y. Diesel imports rose by 30K b/d m-o-m to 110K b/d, recovering for the third consecutive month.
