Motiva restarts crude distillation unit following Hurricane Laura

Motiva Enterprises have now restarted processing at the last of three crude distillation units (CDUs) located at the 607K b/d Port Arthur refinery in Texas, the first time all three CDUs at the site have been in operation since being forced to shutdown on August 25 as Hurricane Laura hit, Reuters report. The two larger distillation units at the refinery were previously brought back online earlier in the week, as Motiva continues to bring back production at the nation’s largest refinery.
