China Auto Sales in March Jump

Chinese auto sales climbed to 2.5 million vehicles in March, the highest level since November 2017 data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) reveal. This was 75% higher than Covid-disrupted March 2020 sales and also above the March 2019 level of 2.0 million vehicles. Chinese auto sales have grown on an annual basis for the past eleven consecutive months.
