Daily crude steel output at China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills averaged 2.32 Mt during April 11-20, up from 2.27 Mt in the preceding ten-day period to narrowly hit a new all-time high, according to data from the industry association.

Production was 19.1% above the corresponding period in 2020.
