Iron ore stockpiles at 42 monitored Chinese ports rose by 0.7 Mt week-on-week to reach 133.6 Mt in the seven days to 23 April, data from U-Metal showed.

Stocks are now up 17.4 Mt above the level a year earlier, and are at the highest level since the week ending 10 May 2019.
