Daily crude steel output at China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills averaged 2.21 Mt over 21-31 March, close to flat on the preceding ten days but down from a peak of 2.32 Mt/day in late February, according to data from the industry association. Despite this, production was still 21.0% above the corresponding period in 2020.
