At 46.7 Mt, iron ore throughput at Port Hedland was almost flat year-on-year in March, data from the Pilbara Port Authority reveal. Despite this, exports were at a nine-month high.

Total shipments in the 1q21 reached 126.4 Mt, up 0.4 Mt on the corresponding quarter in 2020.
