Australia exported 80.4 Mt of iron ore in June (wet basis), the highest volume since December last year but down 4.4 Mt from the record high of 84.8 Mt achieved in the same month last year, official customs data showed.

At 232.9 Mt, Australia’s 2q21 iron ore exports were down by 8.7 Mt on the same period in 2020 and below the 2q18.
