Brazil exported 8.7 Mt of soyabeans and 2.0 Mt of corn in July, down from 10.0 Mt and 4.0 Mt respectively in the same month last year, official export data showed. However, soyameal exports reached the highest monthly level since 2004 at 2.0 Mt, to bring combined soyabean and soyameal exports to 10.7 Mt.

Total exports of soya (beans and meal) in the first seven months of the year now stand at 76.6 Mt, down 2.6 Mt year-on-year, with corn exports at 5.7 Mt, down 1.6 Mt.
