Chinese Daily Steel Output in mid-August

Daily crude steel output at China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills during 11-20 August averaged 2.14 Mt, up from 2.04 Mt in the first ten days of the month, industry association data reveal.

Despite the near-term increase, daily production was still 1.1% below the corresponding period in 2020.
