South African seaborne iron ore exports reached 5.3 Mt in July, up from 5.1 Mt a year earlier but lower than the 5.5 Mt exported in June, official customs data showed.

Total seaborne iron ore exports in the January-July period reached 35.1 Mt, up from 34.0 Mt a year ago.
