Thailand’s crude imports fall to four-month low


Thailand’s crude oil imports decreased by 10K b/d m-o-m and 27K b/d y-o-y to 778K b/d in July, falling for the second consecutive month to the lowest level since March, according to data from Thailand’s customs department. Despite this decline arrivals from the Middle East rose by 36K b/d m-o-m to 463K b/d, while imports from West Africa increased by 30K b/d m-o-m to 89K b/d. Shipments from Asia fell by 101K b/d m-o-m to a four-month low of 112K b/d, with imports from North America also declining by 41K b/d m-o-m to 23K b/d, the lowest since November 2020.
