US June Coal Exports
Coal
The US exported 6.8 Mt of coal to all destinations excluding Canada in June, the highest level in more than two years and up from 3.9 Mt in the same month in 2020, data from the US National Mining Association show.
Coking coal exports reached 3.6 Mt, the highest level since March last year and up from 2.1 Mt in June 2020.
Steam coal exports reached 3.2 Mt, up from 1.8 Mt exported in the same month a year earlier.
Total 1h21 seaborne coal exports now stand at 37.4 Mt, up from 30.4 Mt in 1h20 but down on the 44.1 Mt exported in 1h19.
