China’s jet fuel exports reach 19-month high in November

China’s jet fuel exports increased by 36K b/d m-o-m and 125K b/d y-o-y to 245K b/d in November, the highest level since April 2020, according to China customs data. Shipments of diesel rose by 15K b/d m-o-m to 148K b/d, however this remains down by 326K b/d y-o-y after refineries continued to prioritise domestic supplies amid an ongoing fuel shortage, Reuters reported.

Total clean oil product exports edged up by 4K b/d m-o-m to 619K b/d, however this is down by 327K b/d compared to the same month last year. Loadings to southeast Asia increased by 34K b/d m-o-m to 257K b/d, with shipments to the Americas also rising by 27K b/d m-o-m to a four-month high of 47K b/d. Exports to the Middle East & Subcontinent declined by 52K b/d m-o-m to 105K b/d however, after reaching a six-month high in October.
