Brazil Grain Truck Congestion
Grain
A queue of around 3,000 trucks loaded with grains has built up on the approach to transhipment terminals on Brazil’s Tapajós River that serve the country’s northern export ports, according to industry association Abiove, Reuters reports. Although Abiove believe the congestion will only last a couple of days, it highlights the potential for logistical issues in Brazil, as the peak soyabean export season approaches.
