Brazilian Iron Ore and Grain Exports in January

Brazilian iron ore exports increased by 2.3 Mt year-on-year in January to 29.0 Mt, preliminary

government data reveal.

Exports of Brazilian corn also rose in January, up 0.4 Mt to 2.6 Mt, marking a third successive month

of annual growth. Meanwhile, combined soyabean and soyameal shipments fell by 1.2 Mt to 1.1 Mt,

the lowest level since January 2015.
