Crude steel output from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills averaged 2.18 Mt/day in the last eleven days of January, 1.9% below the record-high production achieved in mid-January, industry data reported by Mysteel reveal. Nonetheless, daily production was still 9.2% above the year-ago level.
