Libya to pay striking port guards

Libya's Government of National Accord (GNA) has ordered payment of all overdue wages to the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG), which have been threatening or undertaking strike action at ports in Libya, Argus reported. Guards at Marsa el-Hariga have been on strike with guards at Ras Lanuf and Es Sider threatening action. Marsa el-Hariga was open for loadings as of today, according to Argus, but none have yet taken place. The PFG have not confirmed if they will proceed with the threatened industrial action.
